Dream Coat
Made from wool, and crapet textile samples, embroidery string, tinsel, and wire closers (applied a light wash of gouache in areas to add a weathered and worn affect)
Aoround 7 inches in length, from each end of sleeve is a total of 9 inches

Process

Started by making measurements of my figure (a jointed doll) from my orignal sketches

Used my pattern to cut out wool shapes of the coat

Hand sewed my final coat’s outter layer

Sewed a lining inside coat and

Felted wool strands on exterior of coat

Finished by embriodering around the edges of the coat
